Now that elements affecting human beings on individual and group levels have been explored, a case study of a city that they dwell in is put forward. This chapter details how a major city originated, where the main sources of intellect that fuelled it sprung from, and how its infrastructures came into place. It relates its development throughout the centuries to the concepts explored in the book so far.
